Ending Trapping on Minnesota’s Public Lands

Protecting people, pets, and wildlife through safe, trap-free public spaces

Ban Public Land Trapping MN works to prohibit mammalian trapping on all public lands and waterways across Minnesota. Our mission focuses on protecting all wildlife from inhumane trapping practices while ensuring that public lands remain safe and accessible for people and their pets.

By eliminating trapping on public lands, we aim to reduce cruelty and waste, lower taxpayer costs associated with managing trapping, and support a balanced ecosystem without relying on predator control. Our efforts also seek to remove commercial trapping operations from these areas, promoting increased recreational use and preserving natural habitats for future generations.
